SERDANG, 18TH APRIL 2017 – Publications are often consider one of the main aspect that bridges the gap of information in society, especially on the dissemination of awareness and knowledge of youth development. To further enhance its publications dynamic, Publication Unit of Institute for Youth Research Malaysia (IYRES) held a courtesy visit to PERTANIKA, Universiti Putra Malaysia as a way to progress better, in particularly for IYRES’s own Malaysian Journal of Youth Studies (MJYS).

This session was attended by Dr. Nayan Kanwal, Chief Executive Editor of PERTANIKA who shared his experiences managing the journal and some tips for having titles indexed in renowned portals such as SCOPUS and ISI. The meet-up was a fruitful one for IYRES as it gave new insights on journal management on international scale which will be beneficial for the management of MJYS such as handling material online in an effective manner.
